Cost Insights Senior Analyst – Fixed Term 9 months


Join EDF as a Cost Insights Senior Analyst and you’ll play an integral part in supporting, challenging and advising on strategic and operational decision-making related to cost which results in higher sustainable EBITDA and cash. 
 

The primary area of responsibility is to own and manage the Cost to Serve model, build an understanding of the commercial implications of the data and how it could be used to make better decisions. You’ll work closely with the business e.g. Pricing teams, Sales & Marketing teams to help them to understand the data and draw out key points to use in decision making.

The Cost Insights Senior Analyst will challenge cost allocations, ensure assumptions are robust and that we are interpreting the data correctly and be curious about what drives changes in cost and allocations and be able to explain the drivers to stakeholders.

The opportunity…


As a Central Cost Insights Senior Analyst within our Centre of Excellence (CoE) team you’ll own and manage the cost to serve model and build an understanding of the commercial implications of the data and how it can be used to make better decisions. You’ll work closely with the business to help them understand the data and draw out key points in decision making. 

 
The Cost Insights Senior Analyst will work alongside the Customers business to drive cost management and reduction. The role holder supports, challenges and advises on strategic and operational decision-making related to cost which results in higher, sustainable EBITDA and cash. 

 
In addition to the above, the Cost Insights Senior Analyst will be driving initiatives to improve the modelling and reporting of all cost to serve related analysis and submissions.
 

What we’re looking for…


Being a Cost Insights Senior Analyst at EDF you’ll have a strong a strong data analytics and continuous improvement mindset and be someone who can provide insights on the data to stakeholders of variying levels. You’ll be an excellent organiser who is able to set out their work priorities in a structured manner.  

 
We’re looking for someone who has a logical and analytical mindset with advanced Microsoft Excel skills who is able to manipulate large amounts of data, analyse and then identify trends. You’ll be a resilient character who has a thirst for knowledge and a natural curiosity.
