The Opportunity…
As a Settlements Analyst within the Portfolio Operations team, you will work across two teams, Settlements and Meter Health.
You’ll work to improve the total amount of energy settling on an annualised advance which will include working across workstreams including settlement audited dataflows, meter faults and field appointments, to ensure activities result in a successful read validation.

What you’ll be doing
• Evaluate processes to identify areas for improvement to help achieve industry regulated targets for NHH & HH settlement performance as defined by the balancing & settlements code.
• Identify new areas of opportunity and work to create & define new processes, including process mapping.
• Support investment cases for new initiatives and projects that help improve the customer journey and industry performance, whilst balancing risk and cost.
• Sourcing and analysing large sets of data and summarising into understandable conclusions.
• Work with both internal and external third parties to ensure the smooth running of data exception processes.
• Review manual processes and streamline or transform into bulk solutions through process re-engineering, standardising, outsourcing, automation, or systemising.
• Gain buy-in and engagement for performance improvement initiatives from Senior leaders in the business, and external stakeholders including Customers and Regulators
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who has experience within at least one of the following areas; electricity settlements, electricity metering, industry dataflows.
You’ll be competent and experienced in data manipulation and tools in order to turn data into stories and you’ll have up to date knowledge of the energy industry, including customer needs and regulations.
You’ll need the ability to strike the right balance between cost, compliance and customer needs when proposing change initiatives.
