EDF Renewables UK and Ireland (“EDF R”) is one of the UK’s leading renewable energy companies, specialising in wind power and battery storage technology.  EDF RUK develops, builds, operates and maintains wind farms and other renewable technologies throughout their lifetime. The EDF RUK portfolio of nearly 1,000 MW consists of 35 wind farms – including two offshore wind farms – and one of the largest operational battery storage units in Europe.


EDF Renewables is expanding our team in Ireland to support our ambitious growth plan with over 500MW of onshore renewable projects and our recent acquisition of a 50% stake in the Codling Offshore Wind farm.  In line with our growth plans, we are seeking to recruit a full-time, permanent, HR Manager to join our team based in Dublin.

The Role



Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner in the UK, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the people agenda in both the Ireland and Codling Teams.


With a strong HR Generalist background, you will combine your creative thinking and business acumen to build effective partnerships with our business leaders.  You will be vital to supporting the delivery of both the Codling projects people objectives and the EDF R People Plan.  To help achieve this you will have the support of the EDF R HR, Communications & HSE Team and EDF Energy HR Shared Services.


Supporting our joint venture with a growth agenda, you’ll be required to navigate ambiguity that comes with the business’ evolution and your experience of supporting business through change and developing effective working relationships in a matrix structure will be critical to the success of both the Codling people agenda and delivery of the EDF RUK People Plan, in Ireland.

The Skills


To be considered for this role you’ll be able to demonstrate:

A passion for supporting people and have experience of providing HR support in organisations with field and office based employees and/or, multi-site organisations
•    A strong understanding of Irish employment law  
•    A track record of building good relationships and credibility with business leaders based on solid commercial understanding and an ability to identify customer needs and go beyond just delivering defined HR solutions
•    Demonstrate knowledge and understanding in the areas of; Agency supplied worker management, change management, people development, performance management, recruitment campaigns (Staff and Agency), reward management, talent management, and ER/engagement
•    An ability to get work done and make a difference i.e. performing and delivering business-oriented HR solutions and approaches through influence, coordination, and individual effort
•    An understanding the value of diversity in the workplace and is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture within the workplace
