About us and the role

We are looking for a Physical Configuration Engineer to join our Plant Integration Function, providing information to HPC Project stakeholders on the implementation progress of the very latest design configurations into the physical Systems, Structures and Components under procurement and construction at HPC.

The post holder will be expected to identify solutions and mitigations to identified issues in order to ensure Project Milestones are approached with the required level of consistency between the Physical Configuration and the associated Design. They’ll be responsible for ensuring any “configuration gaps” or Open Points are recorded, presented and understood by the Project Managers and addressed by appropriate risk mitigation activities.

This is not an Engineering Delivery role but more aligned to an “Engineering Design Controls” role which will see the post holder working closely with a wide range of Engineering, Commissioning and Project Management stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to be part of building one of the largest, most complex projects in Europe; something vital to the country’s future energy needs, helping Britain achieve #CarbonNetZero.

Reward Package

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a pension scheme, a wide range of flexible benefits to suit your lifestyle, and the opportunity to earn a bonus.

Please let us know if you require flexible working arrangements by highlighting this on your application. We’re happy to talk flex in line with the requirements of this opportunity.
