The Opportunity

 

EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is tasked with delivering the design for several nuclear island (NI) buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project. This involves working through an integrated team, supporting HPC construction and commissioning efforts, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. As a result, a Technical Directorate is being established to oversee the engineering disciplines and technical expertise needed to successfully deliver these projects through EPR-E’s integrated teams.

 

We are seeking two experienced French-speaking Personal Assistants (PA) to offer comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to French /English Executive Directors. In this role, you will need strong secretarial skills and a proactive approach to managing a complex and varied workload.

What you’ll be doing

 

You will be managing diaries and arranging travel and directing incoming calls, visitors, and emails along with maintaining files, records and calendars.

 

In this role, you’ll be utilising business software applications (outlook, word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets) to prepare correspondence, presentations, agendas, and minutes.

 

You’ll be proactively prioritising and preparing materials for Executive Directors to ensure their work is effectively planned with all necessary resources.

 

You will be obtaining and disseminating information to and from senior management and external representatives.

 

 

Who you are

 

You'll be highly organised with a flexible and methodical approach, fluent in both French and English, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

You'll be capable of working independently, taking proactive initiatives, and contributing to a positive work environment as a team player.

 

We seek someone who is adaptable, able to multitask, and experienced in providing team support while managing confidentiality with discretion.

 

Proficiency in general administrative tasks, including Microsoft Office and Outlook, is essential, and a basic understanding of property services activities and terminology is beneficial. Previous experience in the energy sector or working in France is also advantageous.
