What you’ll be doing

As the Corporate Compliance Manager within EDF’s Nuclear New Build (NNB) Legal team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity and success of our groundbreaking nuclear projects.

Your expertise will ensure that our operations comply with stringent legal and regulatory standards, mitigating risks and fostering a culture of compliance across the NNB projects.

You’ll lead the compliance efforts for NNB projects, ensuring strict adherence to key legislation like export controls, GDPR, and anti-bribery laws.

Collaborating closely with EDF Compliance and NNB teams, you'll embed a robust compliance framework and proactively manage emerging issues.

In this role, you’ll oversee governance and risk management, aligning with shareholder and government requirements while driving continuous improvement.

Staying ahead of legislative changes, you’ll advise on necessary adjustments and lead initiatives to maintain operational excellence across the projects.

Who you are

You are a seasoned compliance professional with extensive knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, particularly in areas like export controls, data protection, and competition law.

Your track record in developing and implementing compliance frameworks within highly regulated industries, especially in large infrastructure or nuclear projects, speaks to your expertise.

You excel at managing compliance across complex projects, maintaining well-organized procedures, and driving high training completion rates.

Your ability to proactively address compliance issues ensures minimal corrective actions from audits, and you’re adept at balancing risk and reward while managing government arrangements.

You build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, and your commercial acumen allows you to navigate and influence senior leadership effectively.

With excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills, you can convey complex information to diverse audiences.

You thrive under pressure, managing multiple priorities with a flexible approach, and are proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
