The Opportunity

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our client function, where we drive strategic commercial oversight and intelligence to fuel success throughout the Supply Chain lifecycle. From ensuring we have the right people, processes, and systems in place to delivering compliance and assurance, we're focused on optimising every aspect of our operations.

 

As the Commercial Manager (Assurance & CBL), you'll lead the charge in managing and assuring our Contract Baseline Documents (CBL) library and Universal Document Selection tool, while also spearheading our Commercial Assurance strategy.

What you will be doing…

 

As the Commercial Manager (Assurance & CBL), you'll take the reins in ensuring the effective management and assurance of our Contract Baseline Library (CBL). Your role involves overseeing procedures, supporting document owners, and verifying the review process for CBL Documents

 

  • Managing the Contract Baseline Library.
  • Owning the procedure for managing changes to baseline contract documentation.
  • Supporting document owners in following due process for updates.
  • Verifying effective review and challenge processes for document updates.
  • Tracking changes to the CBL Library and their impact.
  • Providing assurance on the effective management of the CBL Library.
  • Maintaining an auditable trail of all changes to the CBL Library.
  • Providing visibility of contract specific CBL deployment.
  • Supporting document control in managing the Universal Document Selection Tool (UDST).
  • Assisting the Senior Commercial Manager (Commercial Assurance) with data analysis and assurance review materials.

 

Who you are…

 

If you're someone with a passion for systems and processes with a desire to make complex tasks understandable, you’ll be a perfect fit for our team!

 

Holding a degree in a relevant field would be adventitious however, not essential as we’re looking for you to be able to demonstrate sound experience with working in commercial activities and have a generalised overview of the steps and processes in this field. Other requirements we’re looking from you are:

 

  • Holding familiarity with NEC & FIDIC forms of contract.
  • Good understanding of the UK regulatory framework.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities
  • Advanced skills in Excel and MSWord and confident in utilising this knowledge for reporting
  • Advanced skills and knowledge of Teamcenter are desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex systems to novice users.
