Civil Contract Manager

Aztec West, Bristol - with flexibility of working from home, minimum 3 days a week in the office.

Are you an experienced Civil Contract Manager ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have a strong background in engineering or construction management, with practical experience in contract management? Are you skilled in navigating contract regulations and laws? If so, come and join EDF as a Civil Contract Manager!

The Opportunity

EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is tasked with delivering the design for several nuclear island (NI) buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project. This involves working through an integrated team, supporting HPC construction and commissioning efforts, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. As a result, a Technical Directorate is being established to oversee the engineering disciplines and technical expertise needed to successfully deliver these projects through EPR-E’s integrated teams.

As a Civil Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing one or more civil engineering design contracts for the HPC project, working within the HPC Integrated team in Edvance UK (ITB). You will oversee all aspects of the contract, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and that the project meets planned schedules, budgets, and quality standards. You’ll collaborate with civil engineers, scheduling, and cost control teams within EPRe, while also working with the contract holder, the Responsible Designer’s Project Management Office (PMO), procurement, and legal teams. Additionally, you will interface with the Civil teams working on the ITB civil design scope, and engage with various entities within the client organisation, EDF Energy Nuclear New Build (NNB), particularly Civil DMT.
