Strategic Reporting Analyst (MD's Office)
Satellite Delivery Centre, Bridgwater, Hybrid, minimum of 3 days a week in office, with occasional travel to site when required.

Opportunity
The Managing Director’s Office (MDO) serves as the central point of contact for key stakeholders, including EDF Group, CGN, and the UK Government, fostering strong relationships. As the Strategic Reporting Analyst in the MD’s Office, you will support the Managing Director and Hinkley Point C’s (HPC) Executive Team by preparing strategic materials and reports, with a focus on senior-level interactions with EDF Group.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a strategic overview of the HPC project, work closely with senior leaders, and develop your career within HPC or the wider EDF network.

What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a proactive individual to support the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Managing Director and Executive Team in their interactions with the EDF Group. This includes developing supporting materials, preparing regular HPC reports, and contributing to key documents like the Universal Registration Document and EDF Book of Appendices. You will also collaborate closely with delivery teams and departments, ensuring a coordinated approach by sharing insights and aligning efforts with the Strategic Reporting Lead and MD’s Office Analysts.
The role involves leading HPC’s reporting for the Jaitapur Nuclear Power Plant project and coordinating site visits for stakeholders, including the EDF Group, government representatives, and SZC. Additionally, you will manage updates to the Project Execution and Business Plan, ensuring alignment across programmes and directorates while clearly communicating HPC’s vision, milestones, and objectives to all stakeholders.
Who you are
You’ll showcase excellent skills in presentation, communication, and influence. Strong written communication, particularly in preparing presentations and reports, is key. A collaborative mindset, along with discretion, emotional intelligence, and resilience, are also crucial for this role. With three A-levels at grade C or above, or an equivalent qualification. Your role involves analysing and interpreting business requirements, identifying patterns, and conceptualising processes. Which requires good numerical and analytical skills, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of various projects.
Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include knowledge of compliance or auditing, as well as an understanding of the energy industry. A Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, or an equivalent certification, would be advantageous.
