Finance Industrial Placement 2022

A career that will deliver change. Together, we can help Britain achieve net zero.

Join our Finance Industrial Placement programme and you can make an immediate impact, powering the nation today, whilst helping to build a sustainable energy future for tomorrow.

“Working on the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project offered a wide variety of exposure to different areas of finance, which was really interesting! The support from management and other analysts was beneficial in ensuring that I was picking up all necessary skills to become effective in my role. Throughout the placement my experience was increasing, which meant that I was taking the lead on certain projects and activities. The regular 1:1’s with my line manager meant I was offered tailored and specific guidance to any areas of focus/improvement. The benefits of working on a large project like HPC results in the development of many skills i.e., organisational and versatility, which has put me in a strong position moving into my second placement. Overall, I’d say it’s been a really good placement and I’ll be happy to return if given the opportunity!”

Ibrahim Said, Finance Graduate

The Finance Industrial Placement Programme:

Join our Industrial Placement programme, working as part of our Finance team on the unique and exciting Hinkley Point C project, and you’ll contribute to EDF’s ambition to help Britain achieve Net Zero.

For an idea of the type of work you could do, recent students have:

  • Supported the delivery and presentation of timely, accurate and relevant management information, including actual and forecast P&L and investment.
