Satellite Delivery Centre, Bridgwater, Aztec West, Bristol, Hybrid, minimum of 2/3 days a week in office, with occasional travel to other locations when required.

Opportunity…
We are currently recruiting for a Business Improvement Partner for Hinkley Point C (HPC), to support change and improvements across the Project.
You will be contributing to simplification, optimisation, and efficiency savings, aligned to the safety, quality, time and cost project principles.
The Business Improvement Partner will be reporting to the Head of Business Improvement, within the finance function residing under the CFO for the HPC project.

What you’ll be doing…
• Working with the Senior Leadership Team to support, challenge, monitor and deliver positive changes
across the project’s improvement initiatives.
• Development of a holistic overview of the HPC project and its functions to support improvement
targeting.
• Work with, report to, and communicate with multiple stakeholders, at all levels of HPC and EDF.
• Collaborate with colleagues internally and externally to ensure learning is shared across new build
projects, as well as the wider EDF and EDF Group.
• Support and coach business leads to ensure improvement initiatives are set up for success.
• Review and challenge improvement initiatives to ensure highest value-added benefits.
• Use light-touch governance to resolve roadblocks and manage interdependencies.
• Ensure focus and alignment on the business priorities.
• Assist embedment of best practice business change process across the new build projects.
Who you are…
• Business improvement experience
• Ability to work effectively and build relationships with stakeholders, at all levels.
• Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams supporting analysis and
improvement across diverse topics.
• Results-driven, proactive, and able to manage own workload.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and able to come up with resolutions or new
ideas.
• Experience in negotiating, influencing and good communication skills.
• Proven Project and Programme Management ability
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills
Your background may include some of the following:
• Competence in the use of lean / six-sigma methodologies, and workshop facilitation
• Experience in a regulated industry, ideally of a complex nature.
• Professional qualification in Business Change and/or Programme Management
• Experience of successfully leading complex transformation or business change projects.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
