Supply Chain careers at EDF

Whatever we need, whenever we need it – and they always deliver. It’s up to our Supply Chain team to source the goods and services we need to exceed customer expectations in the most cost-effective way possible. And, as our business continues to grow, so does the importance of this team.

Becoming part of our team

We’re looking for people with real initiative that can work effectively in a structured environment. People ready to develop strategies, build relationships and secure cost-saving contracts through a resourceful, people-focused and commercially-minded approach.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re joining us a graduate or as an experienced supply-chain specialist: if you have the qualities we’re looking for, we can provide you with all the training you need, including supporting you towards Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply certification. Training will be tailored to you and, if relevant, we’ll offer you the opportunity to try your hand working at different units before choosing an area to specialise in.

Rewards and benefits

In addition to a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance and annual company bonus when targets are met, we offer our employees a flexible benefits package that lets them select the benefits that best suit their lifestyle. Below are some of the benefits to choose from.

  • Holiday trading
  • Payroll giving
  • Dining cards
  • Travel insurance
  • Private healthcare insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Healthcare cash plan

Training

Whether you’re joining us as a graduate fresh out of university, or as an experienced Supply Chain Specialist from a similar background, we’ll provide you with all the training you could need through our professional development channel – allowing you to develop your skills to the EDF standard and structure.

A key part of this is working towards the appropriate level of your Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) certification. Graduates will receive hands-on training, while training for the more experienced joiners will be more computer or workshop based. Equipped with the necessary theoretical knowledge, you will then work with your fellow colleagues and other professionals to develop that knowledge and apply it to real world situations.
