Through robust, reliable power-system modelling and incisive, credible analysis of energy statistics and projections, they empower us to make sound business decisions and move forwards with confidence.

Becoming part of our team

Our Strategy and Analysis team work across a range of fascinating areas with real importance. From analysing historical data to understanding energy markets, developing proactive strategic responses to shaping our long-term nuclear-strategy programme, roles within the department are all about providing us with the foresight and initiative we need to pioneer our industry.

Naturally, keeping your skills up to date is essential, which is why we offer considerable opportunities for continuous development. Alongside your EDF Energy induction training, we’ll support you in obtaining qualifications, and let you determine when you’re ready to assume more responsibilities and take your career to the next level.

The Strategy and Analysis team is spread across the country, with larger teams in Croydon and Hove. Travel may be required to other EDF Energy offices in Three Bridges, Crawley, Exeter, Sunderland and London.

Keeping your skills up to date is essential, and so EDF Energy offers continuous opportunities to develop. In addition to the standard EDF Energy induction training, there are also opportunities to take on additional duties. Qualifications are open to everyone and it’s up to you to decide how much you’d like to take on and how far you want to go in your role.


The team is spread throughout the country but a larger portions are based at Interchange, Croydon and Hove a short walk from Portslade train station. Travel may be required to other EDF Energy offices in Three Bridges, Crawley, Exeter, Sunderland and London.
