Training

Continual personal and professional development is a way of life at EDF. All our HR practitioners are encouraged to remain at the forefront of HR policy and practice. That’s why we are creating the HR Business Line Academy – a hub for sharing knowledge and developing new skills now and in the future.

We’ll be using the Business Line Academy to make available and develop competency frameworks, and to help people improve their individual skills and competencies encouraging new ways of learning.

The Business Line Academy will provide the facility for you to connect with colleagues from other areas of HR to learn from, share knowledge and develop together, bringing together the diverse HR community within EDF.

Locations

The HR team supports the whole business – looking after our offices, plants and power stations up and down the country. Joining them, your role may incorporate travel to our various locations.

Central Function insights

We employ over 12,000 people in the UK and have a very diverse, multidisciplinary workforce. As we both produce AND supply energy, unlike other energy suppliers we are able to provide more varied opportunities for professionals interested in ‘central functions’.
