Customer Services and Operations careers at EDF

We have opportunities for people who want to put the Customer first and join us on our journey to help solve our customers' energy needs.

Becoming part of our team

You will be a trouble-shooter, a problem solver and the voice of our business.

We’re looking for people who want to put the Customer first and join us on our journey to help solve our customer’s energy needs.  You’ll be a good listener, have an understanding personality, and the ability to empathise with and respect your colleagues and customers.

You’ll be IT literate with a good general level of education including Maths and English.  Key is a desire to deliver excellent, professional customer service in a call centre environment.

Rewards and benefits

In addition to a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance and annual company bonus when targets are met, we offer our employees a flexible benefits package that lets them select the benefits that best suit their lifestyle. Below are some of the benefits to choose from.

  • Holiday trading
  • Payroll giving
  • Dining cards
  • Travel insurance
  • Private healthcare insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Healthcare cash plan

Training

Keeping your skills up to date is essential, and so EDF offers continuous opportunities to develop. In addition to the standard EDF induction training, there are also opportunities to take on additional duties. Qualifications are open to everyone and it’s up to you to decide how much you’d like to take on and how far you want to go in your role.

Locations

Our Customer Services team are based in Hove, Exeter and Sunderland (Doxford).

Central Function insights

We employ over 12,000 people in the UK and have a very diverse, multidisciplinary workforce. As we both produce AND supply energy, unlike other energy suppliers we are able to provide more varied opportunities for professionals interested in ‘central functions’.

This video shows three of our employees sharing their experiences in their day to day roles, their professional development and a career they can feel good about.
