Overview

Working at one of our London, Croydon or Hove offices, you’ll be supporting our Strategy and Corporate Affairs team, with your time shared between the Corporate Digital and Corporate Affairs teams.

Our Corporate Affairs team looks after the political, stakeholder and media engagement for companywide issues. This side of the placement offers the opportunity to get involved in the planning and coordination of the development of public affairs materials.

You’ll prepare briefings and undertake research on political and policy issues, help ensure the stakeholder database is maintained and support the team in preparation for events (virtual and in person). This is a great opportunity to develop your writing, content creation and political research skills.

The Editorial, Content and Channels Digital team is responsible for our corporate digital and social channels. In this team you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of different platforms and technologies; planning, developing, implementing and analysing campaigns to drive brand awareness and traffic.

You’ll be involved in the maintenance and management of our digital content, the creation and publication of digital content, as well as the upgrade of our internal intranet.  In addition, you’ll be exposed to PPC, SEO, analytics and reporting.

You’ll gain experience of a wide range of campaigns and benefit from mentoring by experts in a highly collaborative and supportive team.

Training

Most of what you learn will be on the job, with support from your mentor and the teams you work in. Some industrial placements come with opportunities for further technical training as needed.
