Commercial Internships

By working on a summer placement you will be provided with an excellent opportunity to gain insights into life and work at EDF Energy. We’ll provide you with challenging assignments – and all the support you’ll need to make the most of the experience - and at the end of your placement you may even be considered for one of our Graduate Programmes.

What we’re looking for

• You'll be studying towards a degree in any discipline

• You’ll be on track to for a 2:1 undergraduate or 2:2 postgraduate degree

• You’ll have technical, analytical and communication skills

• Lots of initiative, business instincts and good people skills

• Desire to learn and develop your abilities

After you’ve completed your internship you should know for sure whether you want to be part of the UK’s energy future. If all goes well, we hope to see you back at EDF Energy after university, on one of our graduate programmes.

Overview

Taking on a real job at a junior level, you'll have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues.

By the end of the internship, you should know whether this is the company for you and you will have the opportunity to apply for a place on an EDF Energy Graduate Programme.

Training

Most of what you learn will be on the job, with support from your mentor and the teams you work in.

Internships can be completed at the following locations: Brighton, Croydon, Exeter.
