Debt Collection Supervisor


The Opportunity


Our EDF Business Solutions (EBS) Collections team are responsible for helping achieve debt reduction for both our Large and Mid-Market portfolio. We have a vibrant team with a wealth of knowledge throughout who are working hard to achieve our targets which relate to cash collection, total overdue balances and aged debt. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and support our advisors and line managers to ensure we reach both our monthly and financial year-end targets.


Responsibilities will include support for continual improvement, setting up coaching plans and listening to our advisors customer calls, as they manage our customers’ needs first hand we need to be confident the correct calls and emails are in place, providing feedback which will include identifying areas of strength and improvement to help the team work as efficiently as possible, the candidate will attend scheduled and ADHOC meetings with our customers and different departments to help and assist with their queries.

 

What we are looking for


We have multiple positions available which differ in roles and responsibilities.


One of the job role’s main responsibilities will include, working across several initiatives and activities to deliver continuous improvements for business and industry processes. Requiring you to work collaboratively across the organisation, including external stakeholders, both based in the UK (United Kingdom) and as part of our offshore operation, developing a strong understanding of the factors / root causes driving the creation of back-office limitations. Someone who is willing to challenge the status quo and have difficult conversations to support increased value & efficiencies of the area, this will include documentation of critical activities and cross-training members of the team (onshore and offshore).  


One of the other job role’s main responsibilities will be looking for a candidate with knowledge in a supervisory role who is driven by achieving monthly targets and motivating a team, we want someone who can deliver positive morale and who is confident in bringing new ideas to the table, previous experience with team building and debt/cash collection is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
